My Story

I suffered from the phobic condition Erythrophobia (extreme fear & anxiety of going red) well into my 30s. It was only after walking away from my “nth” job because of the shame and fear I felt, that I decided to take control.

Despite going back to school and getting a medical degree so I could understand blushing and hopefully find a cure – the penny hadn’t (yet) dropped… Things needed to get so bad that I had no choice! So I made it a priority and I experimented with all the tools I’d learned in medical school from physiology to neurosence – and I did it!

It wasn’t a split-second thing: it was a process. A journey. It took time (years). In fact, it was so gradual that by the time I was cured, I’d forgotten about it! And I got on with my life… Had a great career, kids, set up my own Leadership Development consultancy and gave a TEDx talk. That TEDx talk was the start of Blush2Bloom.
